April 16, 2009

Do you have kids on Spring Break this week? Looking for some activites to round out your weekend. Here are some good ones!

KIDSFEST
All weekend long, State Fair Park hosts the sixth annual "Metroparent KIDSfest." Get ready for Wisconsin's best family entertainment, learning and hands-on activities for toddlers to tweens. The weekend is devoted to kids, parents and grandparents, with a focus on family. http://www2.jsonline.com/kidsfest/index.asp

KIDS AND PROFESSIONALS AT WORK
Head to the Betty Brinn Museum Thursday night to join professional artists and teachers from Artists Working in Education. Kids can create their own art masterpiece to take home or help create a collaborative piece for display in the museum. bbcmkids.org

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM
Not just a Ben Stiller movie anymore, kids in Milwaukee can spend a night at the Milwaukee Public Museum among the dinosaurs and mummies. Staff run planned activities and a special Planetarium or IMAX show. This program is for families with children ages 6-12 and scout groups. http://www.mpm.edu/

Have a great weekend!
