Let it snow let it snow let it snow

December 11, 2008

With one of the snowiest Decembers on record already here, it's time to break out the snow pants and get outside for some fun! If it's going to snow, it's good to have it now, early in the season, before the temps get too cold.

Buidling snowpeople, snow forts and snowballs are all big time fun activites outdoors for the family. But let's not forget sledding! This is the best time of year to get out and enjoy the powdery white stuff. All ages love the thrill of sliding down a slick hill- and a steamy cup of hot cocoa afterwards.

Here are some local sledding spots. Have one in your neighborhood? Leave us your favorite places to sled in the comments!
