Pack up lemonade in your sippy cups, a couple of PBJ's and a blanket and you have all the makings of a fun afternoon or evening picnic.

No matter which side of town you live by, there are plenty of county parks and picnic spots available. All of the parks listed below are free and have picnic tables or designated picnic areas.

CEDARBURG STRAWBERRY FEST
Fresh home-grown strawberries are the reason Cedarburg will celebrate the most luscious fruit of the season during the annual Strawberry Festival. Over 100,000 people visited the festival last year for this free, family-oriented event.

KETTLE MORAINE DAYS FESTIVAL

Fox Brook Park Anniversary Party

June 22, 2009

Fox Brook Park, 2925 North Barker Road, Brookfield, will be celebrating its 10th year on Wednesday, June 24.
In honor of the 10th anniversary of Fox Brook Park, Waukesha County will accept three non-perishable food items for the Waukesha County Food Pantry as an alternative to our normal park entrance fee of $3.00/per car on Wednesday, June 24, 2009.
There will also be concession specials: $1 hot dogs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and each car will receive a coupon for a free bag of popcorn, redeemable on the 24th only.
Celebrate and help a great cause and get some sunshine (hopefully!).
