Bayshore and Black History Month
February 16, 2009
During the month of February you and your child can participate in celebrating Black History Month with a number of free activies going on at Bayshore Town Center in Glendale.
On Wednesdays the Barnes and Noble Booksellers offers storytime at 10:00 AM. With a spacious area for reading and play it's a great place to let the kids unwind. Today at 2pm they are celebrating President's Day with stories and treats for kids.
Usually tickets for Ko-Thi Dance Company are hard to come by, but not this month. During the month of February Ko-Thi will be performing on February 14, 21, & 28 at 1 & 3pm. Focused on educational programming through their Children's Performing Ensemble, and DRUMTALK cultural presentations the Ko-Thi Dance Company promises to continue the company's legacy to educate, inspire and most importantly entertain. This is free to the general public and taking place in the Rotunda.

Prefer the indoors? How about some free fun at the Central Library for "Valentine Story Time" at 10:30 a.m. followed by a heart scavenger hunt at the Milwaukee Art Museum from 1 to 3 p.m.
Where ever this holiday weekend takes you I hope you are surrounded by those you love best!
