Wisconsin Humane Society

The Wisconsin Humane Society offers a story time for children ages 2-4 years old every third Thursday of the month, September through May. Animal-related books with a humane theme will be read at each session and will be followed by activities and an opportunity to meet an animal from the Wisconsin Humane Society.

There is no fee for this program; they ask only that participants each bring an item from our wish list to help the animals being cared for at the Wisconsin Humane Society.

Library Time

Is your evening book reading repetoire getting a little worn? Time to visit the library!

The New Berlin Library is offering an opportunity for parents of preschoolers and toddlers to meet in the Youth Program room to play ad socialize. Advance registration is not necessary and it's free.

The program is ongoing every Friday, but check with them for possible exceptions.

Brookfield Public Library & Eric Rohman

Award-winning author Eric Rohmann will give a special presentation Tuesday May 12, 2009 followed by a book signing.

Mr. Rohmann has written and illustrated many children's books, including the 2003 Caldecott Medal Winner, My Friend Rabbit.

From 7:00 to 7:40 p.m. he will give a presentation, followed by a book signing. Prior to the program, at 6:30 p.m., Martha Merrell's Books will be on hand to sell copies of Eric Rohmann's books.
